ITINERARY:

DAY 1: NAGOYA ARRIVAL – HOTEL(–/–/D)
Upon arrival at Nagoya Chubu International Airport, you will be met by our English speaking guide. Proceed to hotel and check in. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

DAY 2: NAGOYA CITY TOUR – TAKAYAMA(B/L/D)
Have breakfast at the hotel and check out. Proceed to your Nagoya City Tour. First visit Nagoya Castle, famous landmark of Central Japan. It is a seven storey castle that has a detailed exhibition space presenting history through displays of art, armor, weapons, dioramas and more. Next proceed to Osu Kannon Temple, a popular Buddhist temple in central Nagoya. Beside it is the Osu Shopping District, a huge and popular shopping area containing over 1,200 shops and restaurants. It has a wide variety of things to buy. Have free time for shopping in the area. Drive to Takayama. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Transfer to hotel and check-in.

DAY 3: TAKAYAMA – SHIRAKAWAGO – TOYAMA(B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Visit Takayama Old Town for a short walk, beautifully preserved streets with many buildings and houses dating from the Edo Period, when the city thrived as a wealthy town of merchants. Move to Takayama Morning Market, one of the three largest morning markets in Japan. It is a morning market with over 200 years of history. After drive to Shirakawago and visit Ogimachi Village – the largest village and main attraction of Shirakawago. Enjoy the sightseeing and have photo stop of the farmhouses village. (Includes visit inside one of the houses). Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Transfer to Toyama and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4: TATEYAMA ALPEN ROUTE – MATSUMOTO(B/L/D)
Breakfast inside the hotel. Move to Tateyama and have a great experience of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route. This is a famous mountain sightseeing route through the Northern Japan Alps which can be easily followed by using various means of transportation including cable cars, trolley buses and ropeway. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Arrive at Matsumoto and then check in to hotel.

DAY 5: MATSUMOTO – TOKYO(B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel, and check out. Visit Matsumoto Castle and have short photo stop. Then move to Daio Wasabi Farm, Japan’s largest wasabi farm covering 15 hectares and is a popular tourist spot due to its beautiful watermills and for the magnificent view of the Alps. Its restaurants offer not only the popular soba noodles along with freshly picked wasabi, but also wasabi-flavored ice cream and lots of other wasabi-themed products. Have lunch at a local restaurant and drive to Tokyo. Upon arrival in Tokyo, visit Tokyo Tower and move up to its Observation deck – second tallest structure in Japan. Proceed to Shinjuku for a short time shopping in the area. Dinner will be served at local restaurant. Transfer to hotel and check in.

DAY 6: TOKYO CITY TOUR – HANEDA DEPARTURE(B/–/–)
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Proceed to Asakusa Kannon Temple, Tokyo’s largest Buddhist Temple. Next shop for typical Japanese souvenirs and traditional snacks at Nakamise Shopping Street, beside Asakusa. Lunch will be on your own arrangement. Lastly drive to Haneda Airport for flight back to Manila.
